I'm glad you're enjoying Amsterdam. Watch out for the cyclists! The trams look scary, but the cyclists move fast and are silent. I was nearly mown down last year.

If it was in the UK, I would say the bird was a magpie. Perhaps there are magpies on the Netherlands too?
