ritaxis | stupid story endings

I'm worjking on the hundred-years-later story. It has come to a stopping place. I wouldn't say that it is an ending. I don't know what's wrong, but I think it's in the writing more than the plotting, so I'm going to pount my head against it for a couple more days and then ask some people to look at it and tell me what's wrong. I've cut a big chunk out of it, and I will cut as much more as I can identify as being extra, and maybe that will help. A problem with finding the extra bits is that the story has a big fat revelation in it so there's some verbage to set it up and respond to it.

Oh, I don't know.

I'm tired and I ought to be in bed. Walking the dog first, though.
