Oh dear, the oaks. I didn't mention those. We have fat entitled squirrels who have decided that they would like to cultivate an oak park in my flower pots. This clearly cannot be allowed to proceed. I see the squirrels come down singly into the yard to check out the progress of their plantings, express their frustration and displeasure with a flick of their tail, and a couple of weeks later, there are the oak seedlings again, four or five of them arising next to my thyme and poppies.
