I've gone back to the beginning to do some cleanup and rethinking. I have no word count, but I've done some stuff.
My bicycle injuries are not as bad as they looked like at first -- even the big ugly thing at the bridge of my nose. It probably seemed so deep Friday because the flesh around it was swollen. I guess I was lucky.
