Entry tags:
breakfast
a small pomegranate
a small bowl of plain peanuts
a liter of water.
Maybe some more pomegranate seeds too.
I have sorted most of my son's books into the following categories:
Shadowrun books to store until he needs them again
Other gaming books to store
Textbooks to store
Books to incorporate into our bookstream
Books to sell at Logos.
I have gone through some of my yardage pile and started a box of yard sale fabrics: they are mostly tiny scraps possibly for quilters or doll clothes makers, so far, but there will be actual yardage. I found this lovely 4-yard piece of blue batiked zebras which I do not remember getting but I will keep. Last summer I got a bunch of patterns in my actual size (at the time). which was not easy, but there was a store having a big clearance sale including uptown pattern companies like Burda, so it was not expensive. There's a pattern for a dress which I already know is a good kind of dress for me because I own one just like it, and I think I will make that up if my hands ever heal from all the cuts they got this weekend. (did I get so many cuts because I had run out of gabapentin for a week and I was newly back on it? I think that was the reason I wanted to sleep all the time)
Tomorrow our old friend Carl Foytik is coming. He used to live in Santa Cruz, and he lived a Santa Cruz life. He played bridge and chess and go at the old Catalyst in the old Saint George Hotel. He lived with us for a while. He moved to Hawaii and he sued the state and went to law school. Now he's coming to visit us.
Lots of people used to live in Santa Cruz. People who I miss a lot, even though I never call or go to visit them -- why is that? I think it's because I move too slowly.
still no rain.
