Frank's mail from gulfport: a distribution

Frank writes today of taking a truck loaded with stuff to a neighborhood which has been left on its own since Katrina.

Frank has been, now , a bunch of places I haven't. That's interesting.

The people who do these things don't even see that they are doing them. They think they're being impartial. Sometimes they even think they're bending over backwards to be more than fair. They often feel deeply hurt if someone points out they're doing racist things, because they honestly believe in equality and a "color-blind" morality.

Which is why we have to talk about it all the time.
