I have dozens and dozens of bulbs popping up all over, and my lilacs are budding like crazy - I just KNOW there will be a late freezing spell and it'll all go to hell in a handbasket... *sigh*
Two kinds of flowering aloe. Marigolds, pansies, those crinkly multicoloured poppies, petunias, snapdragons, alyssum and sweet william. (Most of these are carefully tended and watered bedding plants, mind you.) Then there are the roses and hibiscus, which aren't at their best but never really stop.
Here in Maryland my witch hazel has flower buds that are just getting a tinge of yellow plus the start of smaller leaf buds, the crocus leaves are up about 1 to 2 inches, the daffodils half an inch and the winter weeds like chickweed and lamium are enjoying the cold wetness. The rhododendron leaves are rolled up tight but buds are evident in them as well as lilac.
