Chapter 19: looking for work the old way, learns about the parking lots. First job.
Chapter 20: meets Candelario.
Chapter 21: Candelario's truck
Chapter 22: Candelario meets Araceli
Chapter 23: Candelario's wish for Araceli
Chapter 24: A wedding
Chapter 25: pregnancy and another wish
Chapter 26: A confrontation: Aracali figures our guy out
Chapter 27: a filler chapter, in which our guy leads something like a life
Chapter 28: the watchers appear in our guy's consciousness
Chapter 29: the watchers arrive. tension and filler
Chapter 30: a battle-ish thing. Araceli's wish.
Chapter 31: epilog: the child, and a wish.
I am so not ready for all this. The farther I go in to the story, the vaguer the details are. And I was sure I had more like 120 pages.
I called Palace Arts Friday asking whatever happened to my lateral files. Today they called and said they finally arrived. So today, aside from bingo fundraiser for the band, I have to empty out this room I am sitting in so that the files can be brought in here. But I'm also going to strip a little more paint and I'm going to write a little too. I have already stripped paint and put away some laundry. And goofed off.
