It's two o'clock in the morning and I'm up because the damned dog was barking at goddmaned seals.

The seals were barking.

The seals hang out at the end of the wharf.

The wharf is half a mile long. The wharf is half a mile away.

Now it will take me at least an hour to go back to sleep, if I go back to bed in the next fifteen minutes, which I might, but I probably won't.

revising is fun and easy

Well, compared to composing and drafting it is. I only added 650 or so words, but I also did a little research on Mixtec language and found out lots of fun things. Hundreds of thousands of people speak these languages. Nahuatl -- the language of the Aztecs -- has a million and a half speakers, Mixtec 400 thousand plus.

Anyway, I followed up on everything David mentioned, though I think I may leave that repetition of the word "dipshit" unless I can think of a good reason to do something different.

I'm only going to make a few more passes, I think, and then. . .
