I actually wrote something

It's ben a little difficult, for various reasons, but I decided to finish off the Early California agricultural horror story. And I finished it, I guess. Anybody want to beta this? -- short stories aren't my forte, and horror isn't my forte, that is assuming I have one: but I'd like to make this be good, and then submit it somewhere.

There's lots of horror venues. I'm only half sure this is a horror story. Maybe it's a Saki story. What kind of story is that? It has hell to pay and monomania and alien vegetation and aurora borealis out of place and time. And friendly dogs.


So what's the right place for a story like that? I also need a title and not "Hell to Pay" or "Vines, Solstice, Satan." And not "Goodnight Darling," either.

I'm reading your novel when I get home. You know who you are. I'm leaving for home in about half an hour. I'll be home therefore in less than three hours (should be hour and a half drive but rush hour plus the beginning of weekend traffic with no rain means a lot of cars on the road).
