Gogol Bordello!!!

I just saw Gogol Bordello on the world music show on Gloria's sattelite tv -- "Link TV" station. I already knew I was crazy about them but man, this is something else. The name of the song is "Gypsy Punk Underground World Strike" and its words seem to consist of "In your time! It's not a crime! Something unintelligible!" Repeated over and over while the lead leaps into the air and does the splits.

Gypsy violin in a punk band, my friends. Heaven on earth.

Anyway, according to their myspace profile they're doing a US tour as of like tomorrow: Saturday night at the Berkeley Community Theater, Tuesday at the San Jose Civic, and then on down to LA.

It's 38.50. I don't know if we can or should spend that kind of money.
