If this happens, I might be able to dig up some social contacts in Prague -- at least second or third-hand ones. My family lived in Prague the year I was 10 and my parents have kept up a number of acquaintances there (including visiting back and forth). Mind you, I know that I would be a little freaked out about the idea of cold-calling some stranger and saying something like, "My mother's on-line friend's parents know your cousin ... Hi!" (I'm remembering correctly that this is your son applying, right?) And med school doesn't leave a lot of free time. But hey, networking is networking.
