Peeking into the rock

I've never much cared for infants (in either sense of the term), but I'm always glad to see sane people talking about how to do it well, because it's obviously *tremendously* important, and I suspect often done in slipshod, careless ways. And it's interesting to learn a bit about it even though I have no desire or expectation to ever much use it.
