Floor free

I don't have to do anything to the floor today (I should sweep the rest of the house, though). I made a composite photo -- many pieces because I could not get a good angle on it, and tweaked and tweaked an teaked and tweaked to get the pieces straightened, sized the same, and lined up, and then I cheated and copied a bit (the stripe at the top) instead of photographing its counterpart over again. The part I didn't photograph is straighter than the part I did, though, so I only cheated on photo tweaking, not on making myself look better. The photo, much reduced because I want to make a Sims "rug" out of it, is in my "fecundity" gallery -- or I think it is. But I can't see it there right now, because the galleries aren't working well for me. Anyway, there are more pieces of pattern that emerge from the entropy of mixed tiles, and I will upload those pictures when I've tweaked them to intelligibility.

I do have one floorish thing to do -- I have to go get a pan thing that sits under the washing machine. Other than that: housecleaning and writing! And job hunting.

Yesterday the nice fellow and the young man made me call Mike Rotkin, a city councilmember, to get him to explain how the measure to allow vote by mail would affect the homeless.

ANd I'm too shy, so I only have two people dropping by to make phone calls tomorrow.
