quick quick, who lives in London?

Frank needs a place to sleep, probably on the night of the fourteenth and the fifteenth. Hopefully with access to public transportation that can get him to Heathrow about five in the morning (flight is at 7:45).

Planning is late on this because of many details being in the air until this moment.

Also, we wired him money on the first: the money was taken from our account on that day: and he still doesn't have it in his account. Scary scary.

As to the transfer, it's normal for banks to hold money as long as they are allowed and it's only been six US business days at this point, since the fourth and a weekend have intervened. But do check with your bank, and perhaps with the correspondent bank as well.

Can't help you on London, though!

The tube ought to be running

but I'd consider spending the night at the airport, to be honest.

Best of luck!

Avedon and Rob, but I don't know their spare room situation. Eric Jarvis, same.

[personal profile] annafdd also comes to mind, but I see that she has you friended and probably would have chimed in if that worked for her.

Doesn't she live in Reading now?

I hope to hear soon that the money has turned up. It's true that it is to the bank's advantage to keep as long as they can -- between the time it's taken from your account and the time it winds up where it's supposed to be is the time they get to make money off it using it.

And I've noticed a bunch of things that were supposed to take say, 3-5 business days but with the 4th seem to be taking more like 10. I'd like to hear how it goes.

Is he there? How did it turn out?

Are you all busy getting caught up?

And are you also working more than you wanted to?

Thinking of you all with love and friendship!

Not to leave you in suspense -- though I'm not really going to update properly for a bit -- he finally got the money and he finally got here, safe, but annoyed.

Much more later.

I need to get you and my niece Jenny in the same place so you can talk to her about how it's possible to make a living being a humanities-oriented person.
