answering the call

So the Red Cross called today. They're getting the jump on Hurricane Gustav.

Frank's leaving for Louisiana Saturday morning. They'll bring him back in time to catch his flight to Prague: not in time to catch his father's memorial.

All in all, I'm a little weirded out, but it's for the best that he round out the summer doing something useful and life-oriented. It's kind of hard to explain it to his grandmother, though.

It'll be good for Frank, plus something to put on his resume. You'll be a bit lonelier, but there'll be other people for the memorial. Wish I could come out there.
