Should I?

I work in my sock feet so I leave my dirty street shoes off the babies' floor.  But all my socks are ancient history, most of them having been left behind by Emma when she moved out and became too grownup for them (she moved out, um, three years ago?  Something like?).  They are stained and they have been mended and they still have holes.

So I'm desperately in need of socks.

Should I buy this pile of unknown probably bizarro novelty socks?

Twelve pairs is a lot.  Tweny dollars is not much.  If I only could tolerate six pairs, and I gave six pairs away, it would still be about three dollars a pair.  And silly socks might be appropriate for a baby room.

What do you think?

I should make a poll, but it's too late and I have a headache.

On another front, I will in fact start a November writing project tomorrow: details tomorrow.

You'll only get four different designs, which I think increases the odds that you'll either get a lot of socks you like or a lot of socks you don't like, rather than a result somewhere in the middle.

On the other hand, I'm not a statistician.
