1. Return to Maris -- burying Resi's ashes at the Maris Memorial Park (vignette)Pablo is 58: Resi, dead, 44; Mimi 36; Clara 21; Zahira 57; Victor 10
2. The Last Camp (long chapter)-- Pablo is 35 and works for the Combined Effort as a placement bureaucrat "repats"). The Sister: Ismail: the gangs and national groups: the gull crew and jobber: Resi -- the unidentified deep, and the mechanical locks, and bolting just as Pablo gets him a destination. Resi is 21.
3. The War is Over (vignette)-- a false hope -- accords signed, which will fall apart. Pablo is 6. Resi's mother, not identified as such, is one of several refugees featured in a "what now?" piece on tv. A celebratory dinner in That Building?
4. The Good Camp (long chapter) -- the new camp at Maris. The "good people" of Banco Bajo. Epidemic. Flood, taking in the Banco Bajo people. Resi, 23, meets Mimi, 15, and defends her. Zahira. all those events around Mimi and the birth of Clara. supplies politics. Resi is maneuvered into marrying Mimi.

6. (long chapter) -- Pablo is at Citrus View "integrating" the repats. Political struggles. Mimi sleeps around because Resi won't touch her. Mimi pulls Clara out of school to accompany her everywhere, and Resi doesn't oppose it because he doesn't trust schools or children or anybody. Zahira gets Mimi into a school program and Clara going to school regularly. Resi joins the repats union. Pablo burns his bridges. Pablo is 45;Zahira 44; Resi 31; Clara 8; Mimi 23; Victor is about to be born.
7. Afterwar (vignette) Pablo is 20 and is interning with the Combined Effort. He ends up at old Maris and meets Resi (not identified) who is 6 alone. That Building is bombed, the first time the war comes to Citrus Heights directly. And after: the accords are signed which take.

It doesn't matter if I know the thing word for word by heart, it will change in the writing. I've streamlined the story considerably.

It already changed. I'm switching it back to 5 vignettes, otherwise there's nothing in the vicinity of the epidemic and massacre that make Resi an orphan without papers.

This is a note for me. Redo the outline.
