I may mirror stuff, but I'm not moving.

And I see that subjects for comments are back, if indeed they were ever gone.

They were gone. I didn't understand why they mattered until my daughter explained that there are journals that get long, newsgroup-like comment trains, and that the subject lines work as a way of imposing order on them, simulating threading.
