Comments on Youtube videos of folk music from small countries tend to be bizarrely combative and nationalistic along lines that make no sense from a distance.

I was hoping people would be discussing the music and the performers, maybe even the dancing in the videos.

Silly, silly me.

By the way, happy holidays. I guess I should light candles at some point. But I do not love eight-day holidays.

Also, I have written a thousand new words, but I have not gotten as far as the thousand words that I lost did. I hope this is for the best, and not just padding. I'm finally in the need fire scene, though. It's pretty spooky to write, though.
