I need a break

I need to take much more frequent breaks when I am writing battle scenes, especially ones where I do great and fatal harm to named characters.

Don't feel bad if you do--even the stalwart George R.R. Martin couldn't write his infamous Red Wedding scene at all until he'd finished the rest of the novel.

I don't think I can write the rest of this one till I get through this stuff. But I'm getting through it bit by bit and soon I'll be done with it.
