I am in a Covered California Silver EPO plan, for which I pay $1 monthly and have $15 copays for most services. and the services I get are comparable to the best I got when I was working. In other words, I am getting, now that the kinks are working out, the kind of health care everybody shuld be getting.
Still have issues to work out. Several of them seem to stem from the fact that the insurance company invented a brand new type of plan and the physician's groups did not universally opt in, and there is still vast confusion about it.
