Yesterday I got this chapter, which I thought would be so easy, up to _almost_ 1000 words. I've been picking away at it and it's harder than I thought, and it's not going the way I thought it would either, and suddenly I have the john taking our guy to the zoo and what's that about? anyway, the nice fellow's having a tough time too because he can't find our tools -- Zac hid them, apparently, when he cleared out the back room for the remodel -- and I';m going to take a break from this, touch up the grouting, and let him use the computer to take a break.
I think we really need another computer, as much as I hate to admit it.
Later, I want to finish the chapter, and get started on the next one, in which our guy has to kill a couple thousand words before the Boss can show up at the end of the chapter so that it's a cliff hanger when he captures our guy.
