If she has a pinched nerve and you do physio for it being inflamed she could mess up her leg badly.
If it's been diagnosed as a nerve problem, the first thing I'd do is get acupuncture, because that's something where Chinese medicine is way better with dealing with than Western medicine, and also if you find a good acupuncturist they may be able to tell whether it's pinched and if so where. (Also, the acupuncture will very likely at least temporarily stop it hurting.)
If I'd done this with my hip right away instead of doing the physio first and making everything worse, I'd probably be able to walk almost normally now.
