Quick quick quick! If you're staring at something (ochreish)yellow and white, and you look away to the sky, what's the afterimage?

I think yellow switches to blue and white to black.

If you hadn't already had a viable answer, I would have said pretty much what Tom said. Yellow to purple, white to black.

Err... dark. I think I'm in the wrong time zone to be trying this experiment at the moment.

I'd also think black (for the white bits) and purple-blue for the yellow bits. Possibly a bit weird given the sky is also blue - maybe the afterimage would fade faster.
