A while back a couple of people told me how to tweak my journal settings so that I wouldn't have to scroll back and forth to read the journals. The problem is big pictures. Now, I thought I had carried through with this, because I stopped having the problem. But now I'm having it again. I can't remember where to go to find the place to tweak: I can't find it, paging through the instructions: I can't find it, searching thr help FAQs: and I can't find the post where people helped me with this.

Anybody care to remind me?

So the first wonderful discovery is that there's such a thing as a Lingdoku puzzle, which uses IPA and in addition to placing the symbols in unique positions you also have to make sure that the position and articulation of the sound represented by the symbol are neither of them repeated in a row or column.

The second wonderful discovery is that this puzzle is at a thing called the Speculative Grammarian, "the premier scholarly journal featuring research in the neglected field of satirical linguistics."

Actually: there is a third one: mint chocolate chip ice cream lurking in my freezer. I hope whoever put it there wasn't counting on having all of it to themselves.
