A question for my younger friends

So personhead James Nicoll is asking about youthful attitudes towards space travel here. It's his impression that you whippersnappers born after 1980 aren't as wildly eager to go to space as your elders have been. So, tell me, or tell James: what do you think? Do you want to fly to the Moon, or Mars, or Andromeda? Can you just taste the vasty reaches, do you hunger for the stars (experienced while confined in a metal and ceramic container about the volume of a couple of SUVs, of course)? Ask your buddies, too.

Me, I'm not going to tell you what I think, for fear of influencing y'all.

On another front, I made a Shaker kumquat pie for game night -- but I neglected to cut a piece and I don't know how it worked. I suspect I should have used a lot more kumquats, which I had for once because of a present.
