streetlights

There is a streetlight near my corner that always winks out when I pass it. I mean, it's lit, and then it goes out.

I think the one on Chestnut Street does that too, but I lack sufficient evidence to say so.

A baby stood without support for 13 seconds today, the first time she did that in my presence.

I don't have a specific streetlight that I control, but I swear they go out when I go by more often than could be chance. I researched it some, and those kinds of bulbs give themselves time off now and then as part of normal operation, so I suspect it's just selective attention, but it's still weird.

I've heard other people say that, but it never happened to me.
