She came through the surgery fine. She was trembing and whining and anxious when I got her home, but that was as much due to the side effects of the Tramadol they gave her for pain as anyuthing else. I've cut her dose in half and that seems to be all right.

She's recovered her sense of fun, and boredom, and her appetite for romping, but she's not allowed to romp for twelve more days to protect the stitches.

We'll know about the biopsy in about a week, sadly.

Meanwhile, she's a dog.

I hope she continues to recover quickly and the biopsy results are good!

I'm hoping she's going to be OK, and that she can restrain the romping for the required time -- but she is a dog, so that can't be easy.

I really don't know what vets expect one to do about the desire to romp. I was told that my cat, who had a broken paw, was not allowed to jump anywhere for six weeks. Uh-huh.

I'm glad she's herself, and have my fingers crossed for a good biopsy report.

I had the same problem as Pamela when Spirit had her surgery -- how do you keep a cat from ranging around?

I hope Ruffle's biopsy is negative.
