Second pass, chapter 3: 867 words

So I fixed the hospital scene, which logically led to the soup kitchen scene I had been hoping would fit in about here. I could fix another chapter, but I just got a response to a query, asking for the first three chapters of Esperanza Highway, and I think I ought to get that together right away. I also have to look for a job today -- I promised the nice fellow -- and put some paint in the back room and on the door.

I have some long observations about the band review on Saturday -- something about drama and parents, and something about winning against expectations -- and some shorter ones about Move On and the latest Move On house party -- but they just have to wait. I've got to get things done.
