An American truck driver was detained and held hostage at the immigration center for his birth certificate because he answered a screening question wrong -- "where's your mother?"

Apparently, it is highly suspicious if you have family living in Mexico.

The county outside our city did that for a while, but stopped because the jail was full and too many Hispanics aren't illegals.

One of the ironies, here, is that Arizona has rejected the Federal "Enhanced Drivers License," which would be a proof of citizenship. Apparently, ID requirements are only good when imposed by the state government, and many citizens of Arizona believe they will never be asked to prove their citizenship.

Ot, but weird ... I called my bank today to ask a question, and after answering the bank rep asked if they could update my profile because it was “missing info.” The missing info asked for was my country of citizenship.
