 My daughter's in labor a month early, I've lost my phone, facebook is annoying, and I'm boycotting twitter today.

Um, I keep having to chase the cats off the tops of the bookshelves. The good thing is that when I say "no! Down!" they often listen.

I have had an exciting day of eye exam and fingernail polish. Which, um, isn't very exciting. I did have to get up entirely too early for the eye exam, and I think I will like the new glasses frame (can't be worse than the old one) and the polish is a teal polish with a glitter coat on top, as if I'd stuck my wet nails in confetti. Since I have short nails, it looks less dramatic than one might like, but, well. And while all of this is a bit entertaining for me, it's probably deadly dull to you. Sorry. One works with what one has.

I hope your daughter and grand-baby are happy and healthy.

The only entertaining thing I have to offer is that at work we seem to have experimentally confirmed the least aggravating root cause for my current investigation. (It'll cost millions to fix in the long term, but we can be confident that we'll have fixed it.)
