I cannot work today. I'm going to go clean up the kitchen and myself.
Stupid dog felt she had to defend her house and dinner bowl from whatever wild thing invaded at 3:00 am. Loud and without end. SHe didn't even run outside: just stood, facing her little door, and yelled at the door. She was relieved, somewhat, when I closed the little dorr, but not satisfied. Ran around sniffing the floor and her bowl and growled, and wouldn't stay upstairs. Paced, barked enough to wake Emma, who consequently went to school with a headache. And now I can't think straight about the novel.
Meanwhile, Frank has convinced me that Bella and Chain's dog could easily be called Mandrill instead of Monkey, but he has only almost convinced me that this is an improvement.
