proving I am thinking about sims too much

Last night I had a nightmare the only detail of which I can remember was that someone had removed a section of wall from the house in order to allow the bright orange siding on the outside of the house to flood the inside walls and drive us out to where we would be vulnerable to -- something? I remember, also, that the sky was grey, which is not sims-like.

On the other hand . . .

I am now ready to re-do the four and a half chapters I just wrote. Not all of it needs complete re-writing. Maybe not even half of it. But all of it needs close attention before I can go on.

And yes, I am certain I can't go on before I go back. I've been failing to go on for a week -- not that I haven't written anything, but I've written very little and a lot of it is just compost if I'm lucky.

The good news is that I am ready to do this. Yesterday I was ready to shelve the thing for a week or two and go play with something else.  THis morning, in fact, I started out to do just that, and decided that instead I am ready to do this.
