The BBC misspeaks

The article about Shawna Forde getting the death penalty labels her as a "migration activist."

I complained.


Just to be clear: as vicious and irredeemable as Shawna Forde is, I don't think she should have the death penalty, because the death penalty is wrong and barbaric.

ABC called her a "border vigilante," which is about right.

I agree. I don't think we should have the death penalty. She can spend the rest of her life in prison. Two lives, if we're up to that by the time she gets old, and no probation.
